Grooming should a comfortable experience.

The proprietor of Comfort One Pet Grooming, Hiroko Joulie, has loved dogs since her early childhood. When her mom and dad gave her her first dog “Muku” when she was just 10 years old, she found that she was immediately drawn towards grooming him. As Muku aged, Hiroko began to worry about him and vowed to prioritize his comfort over everything else. The love and care she felt for her dog inspired her to start grooming in 2016 at a local salon. She soon discovered that she wanted to pursue her own ideal grooming style so she followed her passion and opened her own business.

Hiroko practices Force Free grooming which prioritizes the comfort and well-being of animals throughout the grooming process. Comfort One Pet Grooming is a member of the Alberta Force Free Alliance and Fear Free certified.

Currently she and her husband have rescued four fur-babies of her own (two dogs and two cats) and their pets keep them very happy and busy from the comfort of their southwest Calgary home.
